My research:

I have contributed to the ongoing CMS search for a rare Higgs process, HH → bbττ in the boosted regime. I have also been working on the Barrel Timing Layer upgrade of CMS Phase-2, and investigating the potential of superconducting quantum sensors for future HEP detectors.

My expertise is:

Searches for rare processes and Higgs physics.

A problem I’m grappling with:

Calibrating a very loose jet tagger.

I’ve got my eyes on:

Extending the di-Higgs search to all Run 3 data.

I want to know more about:

Edge techniques for likelihood estimation and minimization, and advanced statistical methods used in HEP and adjacent fields.
